- A medical qualification is included in the I or II schedules of part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/ MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject.
- Professor Teaching/ Research Experience: 14 years
- Additional Professor Teaching/ Research Experience: 10 years
- Associate Professor Teaching/ Research Experience: 06 years
- Assistant Professor Teaching/ Research Experience: 03 years
